One post, many days.

Weeks and weeks have gone by yet again since my last post, but the major difference between last time and now is that ALOT of things have gone by since my last post.

So once again recapping what has happened in the last 3 weeks:

Chapter 1: The Gateway

Starting from the beginning, Alan came over one day with news of a new computer to be summoned soon. With my cheerful glee and anticipation, I waited and waited till one day he came over with the materials and recipe necessary to build a godly computer. While piecing together such a contraption, I remembered that I had a pretty decent old computer that i could as storage, a server, or just another tower to defend against the sentinels.

Chapter 2: The summoning

Thus started me on my journey of hardship and change. First off was to find the necessary pieces to rebuild my tower, which were scattered all around the lands of benjamin hsu’s house. After gathering the relics of the past and travelling across nations to obtain missing pieces, I mustered enough courage to synthesize what could possibly be a huge failure.

Chapter 3: The Dream

After the abomination was created, I looked at it and pondered to myself, “this looks kind of like pudge”, with limbs and parts obtained from different destroyed corpses of what used to be other objects. I continued to find a strategic location to place my newborn tower so that It may hit all the creeps efficiently and successfully, netting me rewards from every angle. After careful analysis, I deduced that the basement was the most effective place to mount it, and as i brought it down to the catacombs, my wildest imagination began to stir. I figured that with the tables, chairs, and lustrous resources in my dungeon, I could make this into a new expansion, a new frontier to fend off against waves of oncoming heroes.

Chapter 4: The relocation

I started slowly on my new base, making sure to allocate defences to both my new expansion, and my original command center so that neither would be overrun during my expansion. My air transport units could not travel from my base in my room to my expansion in the dungeon, so I had to wire a trade route to connect the two. Though I tried my best to conceal my new trade route from possible bandits, it could still be spotted at ease. During my mining expedition in the dungeon, I discovered an ancient hub, and thus allowed me to establish a defence network in my very own basement….

Yada yada yada.. kk im bored now, so anyways i moved my computers and stuff to my new base in the “base”ment, including a tv and the wii and stuff. I made the server into a new wordpress blog, put a vent server on it, and an RO server. All taking me and my friends about a week or so to do and longer to perfect. And thanks to murphy’s law, my server’s c drive corrupted last week, destroying all my data that i worked on, boo-hoo. I played and beat ”The World Ends With You” on DS which could possibly be my new favourite game now. Work ended and now i have a week to do nothing with, and i saw forgetting sarah marshall yesterday, a good movie but i was not a fan of the penises. And last but not least, I ordered a Dell XPS M1330 off the dell website, and I’m forced to go clubbing in a few hours because a friend is leaving to hong kong for a month or so horray..

Cheers to the losers!

The brave combatants made their way to the fighting arena, and were defeated hoplessly. One climbed the ranks of the tournament only to meet his doom by a more skilled opponent, while the others were blinded by the glare of the sun and fought amongst each other. Oh well, thers always next time, and all summer to practice!

A spur of the momment led us all to all star wings one late night. We ordered 50 oily-flavoured wings and was too disgusted to finish them that night. We then proceeded to the nearest Tim Hortons, which happened to be about 300 metres away from the wing shop, and loafted there for half an hour before ending the day with a few games of ping pong and billiards at a house in mississauga.

Tape,Sticky Tack + Posters in my possession are cursed. They NEVER stay up and have ruined many of my posters, im gonna start pinning them up from now on if im in an unimportant room.

The end is just the beginning

Hallo, my brain is feeling a bit better right now (quarter brain dead) because i did most of my thinking during work yay! So just ignore the previous post underneath due to the ramblings of a half brain dead student.

Today i saw the last episode of season 1 of Gundam 00, and now i must endure the wait of the entire summer before season 2 comes on =(.I think the anime is done pretty well, the first 10 or so episodes are boring since it provides background story information, the next 10 episodes build up climax, and the last 5 episodes are full of plot and bloodshed. What is unique about gundam 00 to me is that the anime involves main characters who are civilians and suffer through the concequences of the main characters who pilot the robots. And while it is showing this civilian side of the battle, the series is secretly building up the background life story of the speculated main character of the 2nd half. While most sequals would have a brand new character, this one nurtures and incubates a character to become the next protagonist. (This is what I think is happening with the series, but i could be prooven wrong in a few months time.)

In place of the half finished gundam 00 comes the 2nd half of Code Geass, which I have been waiting for about a year to air yay!. If anyone wants to know what code geass is about, just image death note with mechas, and a cliffhanger at the end of season one while you’re at the edge of your seat.

Iuno what else to mention, so here is a picture of my 2:00 am dinner on saturday. It consists of ovened garlic fish things, fried spam and eggs, and rice. No greens because i had none. I guess its an unhealthy unappealing dinner, but it was very yummy and i enjoyed it =D.

While the doors of the weekend slam shut, I am preoccupied with 2 things for most of sunday: playing Diablo 2, and writing my PD2 Report. The latter of the two being super draining on my lacking creative juices. In my PD2 report, I have somehow managed to link my PD2 results, to my blog and came to a conclusion that I have a commitment problem as I seem to loose interest on things on a long term (I hope that doesn’t affect other stuff that I have yet to encounter). I am currently 2/3 done my report, and all I have remaining to do is my 3rd point (on the marks i received vs the course average), some conclusions, and something called a recommendation (steps to take to improve my report writing skills).

Onto other news, I’ve started to play Diablo II in an attempt to supress my boredom and urge to play an mmo until who knows when. I’ve collected 4 sets of cd keys from retired friends so that I can share the credit with for saving the world from the evil clutches of bhaal.

As of late, I am more interested in the comments at the bottom of these posts, rather than the posts themselves =P. Though I know it is impossible for something creative in the comment section of each post (yes this is a challange and a request to you who is currently playing musou orochi), it is nice to hope and wait for suprises that may appear =D.

Everything is in a mess thus I don’t think i can write anymore of anything for the rest of tonight so I’ll just stop now before it becomes incoherent.

Am i violating anything by putting someone else’s work here? Iuno.. My brain turning to mush..

The Recap Episode

Hmm.. What do we have here? A half dead blog with comments from special friends whom have nothing better to do on their spare time.

So about one month ago today, my battle in life against the monstrous forces of laziness has suffered an ultimate loss. In one fell swoop and a few blitzkreg manuvers, general Sloth slaughtered and captured most of the defending empire while erecting an iron fist nation of his own. Anyone who went against his laws were shot and left for dead. The law of laziness affected the whole nation for the entire duration of Sloth’s reign. Without being able to develop new technologies and self improvements, the entire empire was stuck in perptual motion, at a technological standstill, until a small but budding band of rebels led by colonel initiative took advantage of the situation….

So how long has it been? about one month since i posted or did anything productive? Well for a quick recap of recent events:

Weekly: Work all day, and then come home to either A. Eat dinner with a friend and then spend the day with friends. B. Have friend come over sometime after work and chill. C. Waste time on the computer doing nothing for a long time. D. Eat dinner very very late. E. Nap until its time for me to go to sleep. and F, any combination of the above. My cousin came over for his 3 week march break O_o, and just left today =( leaving the house all to myself again =D.

Weekendly: Usually something interesting happens on friday-saturday, whether i go out with friends to some exotic location such as Waterloo, Heartland, or do stuff for someone’s birthday. Then on sunday i go do stuff with family! yay!.

Laptop: Still pretty confident on getting an Asus U3, but a Acer Gemstone Blue is creeping its way into my window, and I’m still waiting from my dad on his findings of unique laptops from HK.

Girlfriend: None.

Brawl FC: 1805-1465-1004 (Japanese game since general sloth is preventing my troops from unlocking chars in the english one) I r play robot and jigglypuff.

Thats about it for the past month of silence. I haven’t even gotten started on doing volunteer taxes ( I know, i should), but i did my own taxes! not sure if its right though.

Apparenlty im supposed to write a blurb about how cool my friend Mandy is =/. Though shes not really that cool, I’ll try to hold her in that light. I have a friend named Mandy whom has freckles on her face. Although I think it’s unnoticable, it must be really cool to have since theres actually a song about freckles, and comon, one must be cool if there is more than 1 song written about them. (Freckles, Westlife). She also uses the nickname tomato and that is totally awesome cool since tomatoes make ketchup and EVERYONE loves ketchup, so then EVERYONE loves tomatoes, and EVERYONE loves Mandy… *Barf*.. And last but not least, she totally owned me in Smash Bros with Kirby =/ but impossible because shes a girl, so it must be lady luck thats on her side.

I kno its old, and its messy, but its been a while since i drew anything. No scanner and no camera = new benmade pics =(.

End Day

Once again, same week as usual, but one day of rest on friday since I had to wake up early this morning!. I kinda just ended up doing nothing alone for most of friday, and slept kinda late at 2:00. Bad waste of time since I had to wake up early.

The reason I had to wake up early was for a tax return volunteer training session. I woke up, went there at 8:25, got settled into the place at 8:30 and was refreshed on some tax pointers that I learned in school. When 9:30 came around, I went out hungry for breakfast. I drove around the area looking for food and decided to finally settle for burger king at 9:38. The meal took a bit longer than usual to arrive and by the time i got my final piece, I was kinda late in returning to the tax-clinic-place. I was locked out of the elevators for a good half an hour before I decided to call the superintendentb whom called a worker whom gave me access to the 2nd floor (how resourceful i am =)). I learned a bunch and got bored when lunch came in and left for home.

Today I was invited to a cocktail party that was hosted at my house! To be honest, I guess I was kinda tipsy when I agreed to the idea last week, but it was pretty enjoyable being able to see all my friends and drink happily with no barfing or heavy duty nastiness to take care of =D. Tonight I get all the sleep I want, and I’m really looking forward to it. They say you don’t miss your water till the well runs dry, and well quite frankly I’m dying of thirst for water from the well of the sandman.

The drawings I Post usually aren’t done by me unless i say so. I kinda thought this was funny although its supposed to be sad =P, enjoy!

Same thing, over again

So pretty much this week was same/similar to last week. Work -> Brawl/Friends -> Work.  I wanted to shape up so on Monday i decided to start exercising on the bike machine thing that i have downstairs along with some push/sit ups each day. The plan worked very very well for me but for only a day, Monday, the day that I started on. I’ve had people over just about every day since then and didn’t get a chance to continue my workout =/. I haven’t given up hope on it, so i plan to get started on it soon enough.

Now that I’ve started working, making money, and got myself a credit card, I’ve began to have less discretion(it used to take me 3 months to decide on buying a bag of chips) when buying things from a store. I got a new case for my DS which i kinda screwed up on, component cables for the Wii/ps2, and new earphones cause i lost my old ones for quite some time now. I use my credit card on every purchase to “credit grind,” so I’ll be able to buy a house whenever I want to in the future bwhaaha.

I’ve been also looking around for a laptop this past week and Ive found that it is almost as hard as looking for a girlfriend, with many similar parallels. The major difference between the two is that a laptop doesn’t judge you as most girls would so it’s just a one sided search. I want a laptop thats sleek and sexy (not a big tank like monster), decent specs (versatile for both gaming and business), inexpensive (not a golddigger), and something that I’ll enjoy being with forever if possible <3 (which is pretty much never in the case of technology). With this criteria and a long time searching, I’ve narrowed my findings down to the Asus U3, or the Asus G1. I’m leaning more towards the U3 since its cheaper while the G1 is pretty much for gaming.
